Gas is present in the digestive tract which helps in the process of assimilation of food in the stomach. At times due to factors like stomach infections, greasy and oily meals, alcohol intake, improper chewing, there can be an excess production of gas in the stomach which can cause discomfort. Stomach pain, flatulence, bad breath, a coated tongue and sharp cramps are some of the symptoms of a gastric stomach.

Apple cider vinegar can react with the excess gas in the stomach and provide relief. Mix 2 tsp of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water and drink it. This can be drunk two times a day.

Add 1 tsp of carom seeds and 1 tsp of black salt to a cup of buttermilk and drink at least 2 times a day.All these ingredients have anti-flatulence properties to dissolve extra gases and soothe the gut.

Take a cup of buttermilk and add 1/2 tsp black pepper and crushed jaggery and drink it 2-3 times a day. Also, make a dry paste by mixing dry mint leaves, ginger powder, coriander seeds, black pepper and have this with warm water 2-3 times a day.
