Place your hands by your sides, palms facing downwards. Bend your knees such that your feet touch the floor. Keep your feet hip distance apart. Putting your weight on your feet, raise your hips upwards. Bring your arms below your hips and try to hold your hands together. Hold this position for 30 seconds before you bring your hips down to the floor again. Repeat 2 to 3 times with normal breathing.

Chakki Chalanasana Or Churning The Mill Pose

This yogasana not only helps in weight loss but also ensures a flat belly.For this, sit on a yoga mat with your legs stretched out before you. Keep your feet slightly apart. Now clasp your hands together. Bend forward and move your arms and clasped hands over your feet in a circular motion, like you would churn a grinding mill. This is a good exercise for your stomach, waist, back, thighs and arms. Repeat this pose 10 to 15 times in both clockwise and anti clockwise directions. Breathe normally all the while.

Trikonasana Or Triangle Pose

This yoga pose tones your arms and thighs besides improving overall flexibility by stretching the sides of your body.For this, stand straight with your feet wide apart on the floor. Slowly turn your right foot outwards by 90 degrees and your left foot inwards by 15 degrees. Balance your body weight on both your feet. Slowly bend your upper body to your right side such that your left hand is above your head vertically and right hand touches the ground vertically, just behind your left heel. Repeat this exercise with the other side of your body. Perform 3 repetitions either side.

Bhekasana  Or Frog Pose

Bhekasana  Or Frog PoseThis pose is a tummy trimmer. It exercises every muscle in your back, legs and abdomen and helps in burning calories.For this, lie facing downwards on a yoga mat. Now slowly raise your head, neck and chest. At the same time, bend your legs upwards and try to grab your toes with your hands, arms behind your back. Hold this position for 30 seconds, breathing in and out slowly. Then release your legs and come back to starting position.

Virbhadrasana  Or Warrior Pose

This yogasana is a very effective technique for weight loss in the long run. It increases the metabolism rate in your body.For this, stand straight on a yoga mat with feet slightly apart. Raise your arms up in the air and fold your hands. Now move your right leg forward and bend your right knee. At the same time, stretch your left leg backwards. Look up at your folded hands. Remain in this position for 20 seconds. Breathe in and out normally throughout this exercise. Repeat this pose 4 to 5 times.Note that these exercises must be practised with expert advice in case of pregnancy.
