1. Warm Lemon Water With Turmeric:

To make this drink add half a teaspoon of turmeric powder to a glass of warm water. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon into it. Stir well. The drink is ready. For those who would like to enhance the taste, add some honey to it.
2. Turmeric Milk:
This must be one of the most popular way to drink turmeric. This milk gives a wonderful relief if you have cold and cough. It is very easy to prepare. Boil a cup of milk. Add a quarter teaspoon of turmeric powder to it and stir well. You can drink this milk when it’s warm. The other way to prepare this milk is to add turmeric to the milk and then let it come to a boil.

This ginger turmeric herbal tea is again a soothing drink for your colds and sore throat. Ginger aids in digestion as well. To prepare this add you would need two cups of water, half a teaspoon of turmeric powder and half a teaspoon of chopped fresh ginger. Boil the water at first. To this add turmeric powder and ginger. Allow the tea to simmer for some time. You could add some honey for added taste. Honey is not just a taste enhancer it is good for the health as well. You could also add a small stick of cinnamon while the water is simmering with turmeric and ginger.
4. Turmeric Coffee:
This is a healthy way to take your coffee in the morning, a recommended addition to your paleo breakfast. You would need half a teaspoon of turmeric powder, a quarter teaspoon of cinnamon, a quarter teaspoon of vanilla extract, a pinch of pepper, a teaspoon of honey and half cup of milk. Keep half a cup of coffee ready. Boil the rest of the ingredients in milk till all the spices are dissolved. Add the mixture to your mug of hot coffee and a flavourful turmeric coffee is ready.
5. Hot Chocolate With Turmeric:
This is another way to take turmeric. It is a comforting drink to take during winter months. The ingredients necessary for this comfort drink would be a cup of milk, a teaspoon of turmeric powder, a teaspoon of cinnamon powder, 2 to 3 teaspoon of cocoa powder, a teaspoon of honey and a teaspoon of coconut oil. Add all the ingredients and place over a low heat. When the milk just begins to simmer, stir well to dissolve. Also add a pinch of salt and a dash of pepper. Drink this while warm. If you like your chocolate drink frothy, just give it a round in your blender.
