5 Yoga Tips To Tighten Skin After Weight Loss

Simple moves like smiling as broad as you can will help in exercising your facial muscles. The kiss move in which you will be pushing out your lips as you are kissing a baby, will help you in tightening face muscles. Swish your mouth filled in air for at least 3 minutes at a stretch. This is also beneficial in tightening facial muscles.

Cooling pranayams or breathing exercises help in cooling the skin, tightening the facial muscles and retaining its glow. To do this, you need to sit down cross-legged, keeping your spine upright. Your shoulders and arms can be relaxed. In the next few breaths you take, you need to feel the breath flowing just at your nose tip. Open your lips and slowly bring your teeth together quite lightly. As you deeply inhale ensure that your breath flows between teeth. As you inhale, you will be lowering your chin and hold on to your breath for at least 8 seconds. You will lift up your chin, as you slowly exhale. Keep your left nostril closed using your right hand. Exhale slowly from left nostril. This will make one round. As you complete the exercise, your breathing should be normal.

Start your day early and drink at least three glasses of water, at least an hour before you start your meditation. Staying hydrated helps in removing toxins from the body, keeps your skin hydrated and ensures all your organs function well. Meditation should be done at least 20 minutes in a day for best results.

Massages are very effective in stimulating nerves and offering a beautiful natural glow. Massages also help in de-stressing and relaxing the mind. Use your fingers to softly, yet firmly massage your forehead area. You can start right from the center and then massage till your temples. You should pinch your eyebrows a bit through the length. Repeat the massage at least four times. You need to massage the area around your eyes in circular motion. This will help in tightening the under-eye muscles and sagging forehead skin. You will continue to massage your skin in upward strokes. Remember, as you massage your skin, your breathing should be normal and stable.

Start by lying down flat on stomach. Keep your legs stretched and your arms shall be by your side. Slowly bend your legs and try to touch your ankles. At the same time, you will pull your ankles and then raise your legs. Inhale and lift your neck and head upwards. Stay in this position for sometime. Exhale and get back to the position where you started. This bow pose will help in tightening skin throughout your body.
