6 Ways To Use Coconut Oil Clear Away Acne

1. Coconut Oil, Tea Tree Oil:

This is a very simple method to get rid of acne as well as its scars. All you need to do is mix 1/8 cup of coconut oil and 1-5 drops of tea tree oil, mix the mixture properly. You can store this in a tube in a refrigerator. Apply twice daily for best results.

2. Coconut Oil, Turmeric, Banana:

This method has shown amazing results. A mixture can be made using 1 teaspoon of coconut oil,1 teaspoon of ripe banana and 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric. Turmeric is used as it helps to kill harmful acne causing bacteria. This mixture can be used as a face mask.Let the on for 15-20 mins and wash off with lukewarm water. Repeat this process for 2 weeks and see a significant decrease in pimple growth.

3. Coconut Oil, Honey:

Honey is a great moisturizing agent used in many body lotions and creams. Mix honey and coconut oil in 1:1 ratio and apply directly on the skin. Leave the mixture on skin for 30 minutes. Wash with luke warm water. Not only will the acne decrease over time but also your skin will become flawless and glowing.


4. Coconut Oil, Lavender Essential Oil:

Lavender oil is known to have antimicrobial properties and has a healing power to fade scars and stimulate new cells growth. Coconut oil if often mixed with lavender oil to serve the purpose of treating acne. Mix the two ingredients in 1:1 ratio and massage in circular motion on the face.

5. Coconut Oil, Baking Soda:

Mix two tablespoons of aluminium free baking soda and 1 teaspoon of coconut oil and apply the paste on the skin on the affected area. Use the mixture only once, avoid storing it. This method is very effective in cleansing skin and protecting it from breakouts.

6. Coconut Oil, Lemon, Honey, Papaya:

Not only will this pack reduce and prevent acne but also provide anti-aging properties. Mix 2 tablespoons of mashed papaya, honey, lemon juice, coconut oil respectively. Apply the paste on the skin and avoid areas around the eyes and mouth. Rinse off when it becomes dry.
