One thing that is worth mentioning here that skin being one of the most delicate parts of your body needs gentle treatment and this thing should be followed seriously in the case of frost bite as well in order to avoid any further damage to skin or underlying tissues. Any improper care can result into serious problem which even include bone damage. Therefore it is never advised to cut or rub off any blister resulted from frost bite. Mustard oil is a very effective remedy for the problem of frost bite. The anti bacterial properties of mustard oil are very helpful in eradicating the possibility of infection. Not only this, application of mustard oil over the affected areas helps in improving the blood circulation and increases the recovery rate. Warm some mustard oil and massage gently over the affected area two to three times in a day to cure frost bite.

Like mustard oil, olive oil is also very useful in treating the problem of frost bite. Olive oil is used as a remedy for number of problems. The application of olive oil ensures the improvement in blood circulation which in turn helps in faster recovery. Not only this, olive oil helps in moisturizing the skin and provides relief from the problem of itching as well. In order to use this remedy, you need to take some warm (not hot) olive oil. Massage the warm oil over the frost bitten areas 2 to 3 times in a day. Follow this massaging routine daily to completely cure the problem.

Ginger is also an effective remedy that aids the treatment of frost bite. The anti inflammatory and analgesic properties of ginger are very helpful in reducing the pain and improving the blood circulation in the frost bitten area. Ginger can be used in three ways to cure the problem of frost bite.

First, you can make thin slices of ginger and rub these slices very gently over the frost bitten area for about 5 minutes. Follow this method 2 to 3 times in day to cure the problem of frost bite.

Secondly, you can make a mixture by boiling 3 to 4 slices of ginger in water. Steep this mixture for 10 minutes and then allow the mixture to cool down. Once the mixture achieves a lukewarm stage, use a clean cloth and soak it completely in the mixture. Use this cloth to apply the mixture over the frost bitten areas. Let the cloth cover the area for some time. This is one of the effective methods to cure the problem.

And lastly, you can add a ginger tea to your daily routine to harness the benefits. You can also add lemon and honey in order to improve the taste. No matters which method you chose, one thing is guaranteed that you will get definite relief from the symptoms of frost bite.

Aloe vera is rich in a number of properties that make it a very effective solution for the problem of frost bite. The anti bacterial properties keeps the infection away, the anti inflammatory properties helps in reducing the pain whereas the healing properties helps in soothing the skin as well as increases the healing rate. Get some aloe vera gel from a leaf and mix it with some amount of warm water. Use this mixture and apply gently over the frost bitten areas. Follow this regime regularly to cure the symptoms of frost bite completely.

Using warm water is perhaps one the most effective cures for frost bite. But in order to follow this remedy you have to make sure that the water is between 37 to 42 degrees. Once you are able to maintain this water temperature all you need is to dip your affected areas in warm water. Keep your body parts in warm water for about 15 to 20 minutes. This will help in treating the problem effectively.

Cayenne pepper is very effective in providing instant relief to the problem of pain caused by the problem of frost bite. The use of cayenne pepper increases the blood circulation and helps in recovering from the problem. All you need is to boil some cayenne pepper powder in water. Let the mixture cool down and come to a lukewarm stage. Once the temperature becomes bearable, apply the solution over the affected frost bitten areas by using a clean cloth or towel.

Tea Bags

Tea bags are also very effective in treating frost bite. This remedy reduces the pain and stinging sensation caused by frost bite. It also improves the blood circulation and aids the healing. In order to use this remedy you need to soak some tea bags in water. Boil the water and let it cool down to room temperature. Now soak your affected parts in this water for some time. Alternatively you can also use a cotton ball to apply the solution over the affected areas.
