Mix 10 grams of fenugreek seeds powder with a glass of water. If needed, sweeten with a tablespoon of honey or maple syrup and drink it. To lower the cholesterol level in your blood, take fenugreek seed powder thrice a day.
3. Fenugreek Seed Tea
Using mortar and pestle crush a teaspoon of fenugreek seeds. Add a cup of boiling water and the crushed fenugreek seeds in a teapot and steep for five minutes. Strain and sweeten the tea with a tablespoon of honey or maple syrup.
4. Sprouted Fenugreek Seeds
Because of the high concentration of soluble fibers, germinated fenugreek seeds are best suited for lowering the high cholesterol level. To grow fenugreek sprouts, put three tablespoons of fenugreek seeds in a bowl. Add 6 to 9 tablespoons of cool water and soak for 6 to 12 hours. Discard the water and rinse the seeds in cool water. Place the seeds in sunlight. Rinse the seeds again after 8 hours. Repeat the process of rinsing the seeds and placing them in the sun until the seeds germinate. To manage your cholesterol level, eat a cup of sprouts daily.
