Even though convenient to make than air popped popcorn, microwave popcorns are extremely unhealthy for the body. The small bags of microwave pop corns are lined with the carcinogenic chemical called perflurooctanoic acid that can potentially cause infertility, tumours and cancer. The pop corn itself contains the harmful chemical called diacetyl that triggers lung diseases and cancer. It also contains soybean oil and preservatives like propyl gallate which cause skin rashes and stomach troubles.
The excessive salt and chemicals used to make processed meat are very harmful for health. Preservatives like sodium nitrates that are used to keep the food fresh, are also powerful carcinogens that cause cancer. Smoked meat is also unadvisable for consumption as charring it causes tar to deposit on it. Consuming this tar laden meat is as harmful and cancer triggering as smoking a cigarette.
Non Organic Fruits
Fruits that are non organic contain high amount of pesticides and other chemicals like organophosphates, atrazine, thiodicarb, and nitrogen fertilizers on them. These dangerous chemicals are known to cause infertility, pregnancy complications, infections and cancer. Even through washing of such fruits before consumption fails to cleanse them totally of such carcinogenic compounds. Farmed salmon is contaminated with the carcinogenic chemicals called PCB’s or polychlorinated biphenyls, mercury, harmful pesticides, antibiotics and flame retardants. These chemicals not only pose a high risk of causing cancer but harming the health in general. Farmed salmon also lacks the essential vitamin D and omega 3 fatty acids and hence is also low on nutrition scale compared to wild salmon.

Most canned foods are harmful for health as generally the package cans are lined with bisphenol-A or BPA which are harmful cancer causing chemicals. Refined White Flour
Refined and processed white flour contain very high levels of carbohydrates, regular consumption of which leads to breast cancer in women. The high glycemic rate of this flour increases blood sugar and insulin levels rapidly which in turn is responsible for directly feeding the cancerous cell and promoting their growth and spreading. It also causes diabetes and obesity. The refining process strips off the essential nutrients from the four while the chlorine gas used to bleach this flour is a harmful irritant and makes it all the more unhealthy for consumption.
Hydrogenated oil is added to processed foods to preserve them and increase their longevity and shelf life. These oils however have negative altering effects on the structure and flexibility of cell membranes throughout the body.
