Rotating The Pupils
There are 3 exercises in this categoryKeeping the spine and neck erect and without moving the head,rotate the pupils.Take the pupils up looking at the sky and then bring them down looking at the floor. Do it with ease at least 6 times. Rotate the pupils 360 degree clockwise then 360 degre anticlockwise.Repeat 4 times. Turn the pupils right and then left as if looking at the ears.Repeat 6 times. Do all these exercises first slowly and gradually increase your speed.After each exercise close your eyes for a few moments.
Moving your gaze from one point to another or one place to another is called shifting.Fix the gaze at the tip of the index finger which is 10″ away from the body. Now in a straight line, look at a point 20 feet away from the finger. Keep shifting the vision from the first point to the second. Repeat 10 times and close your eyes and rest for a while. Repeat again. This exercise is particularly useful for improving accomodation. A healthy vision never rests on a point for long but keeps moving from one point to the other(shifting).
As the name suggests , in this exercise we closee and open our eyes in fast motion. Inability to blink eyes is a sign of weak and stressful eyes. While studying we should always keep blinking our eyes in between. Blinking increases the blood circulation of the eyes through contraction and dilation. It reduces stress,cleans the eyes and makes them bright and shiny.
Stand straight and keep the legs a feet apart. Now lift the left sole(keeping head,neck,shoulders,elbow,hands loose)and turn the body towards the right. Now repeat the same with the right sole.Keep the body loose so that it swings along with the feet. Repeat 16 times in a minute. Practice this before sleeping for atleast 5 minutes. This exercise is beneficial for improving vision,brings relieve to tired eyes,helps in getting rid of insomnia and also strengthens the neck,shoulders and lower waist.
Laughing And Smiling
This one definately takes my vote for the best exercise. Long kms of running benefits can be achieved by laughing for a few minutes only. On should have a hearty laugh atleast once a day. Laughing and smiling not only is good for the eyes but also reduces mental stress,activates adrenalin glands and improves blood circulation.Smiling makes the eyes shine bright and makes them look attractive.
